Early on the fool was taught the laws of life
How contradictions are resolved through endless strife
Insane is he who merely speaks his mind
Words are meaningless when motives lurk inside their rotten minds
Yet still they thrive
Feasting on the ones who fall behind
Rid of the doctrine of the ruling creed
Their subtle warnings he chose not to heed
Convinced that there's much more than eyes can see
This world extends beyond what feeble minds can grasp
When bound by scattered lies and truths
To ensure no tensions arise
Clouded minds enslaved by fear
Change they see as demise
No awareness beyond the senses
Unconcerned with future and past
They come to see what they want to see
Leaving nothing but prints in the dust
And still they thrive
Feasting on the ones who fall behind
On and on the fool kept staggering through life
All alone in a senseless world yerning to find
The way out he so craved for from the dead ends in his mind
Every answer to his questions bred more riddles leaving him
Struggling in a maze of thoughts
As fear was casted aside
No pain or guilt no time to mourn
For what was left behind
Blemished creation denied salvation
A mental deviation
The fool was standing on the edge
Laughing in the face of damnation
