John slit her throat, in cold blood, cause he couldn't take the shame

Once Jane and John used to have a son
When he died in vain, they couldn't believe he was gone
Two shattered souls, resigned from life
With noone to blame they lost the fight

Beers and pills, new magic thrills, forcing John to stay
Reckless ways, a mind that strays, did the trick for Jane
No thing of chance, this deadly dance, they both stepped in to sway
A dreadful scene, the curtains fall, no noble bow for Jane
