The day should come when all you knew would cease to be the same
The world you had been living in, was thrown in flames
But oh so strange, noone else could see this fiery hell
They just kept on living like all were well
Unchanged, unfazed by this dystopean scene
They left you all alone, to face a reality so grim
But then again it was just you who saw through all the lies
Hell was the exact same world, just seen through your own eyes
Alienated or pretending everything was fine
Playing a role, you felt, could get you through this life
The martyrdom begins
There's none to blame for this
The judgement falls on thee
The flames just you can see
Hiding inside your made up world, pretending fire doesn't burn
Telling people what they wanna hear, the sound of your own voice you'd forget
Like the lies you let, the burns on your skin piled up
Did you think that if you'd wait, the fires one day would die out
You pushed your self beyond the point of no return
You thought you'd get away with murder, so full of your self
A fool indeed is what is left of whom you used to be
You shut your self to kill the pain, but couldn't you see?
The object of your hate had been your own mind
You came so close to ending your life, but now you'll find
Every breath you took was meant for you to come this far
The stars alligned but they were against you from the start
What are you still afraid of, what's left for you to lose now?
The terrors you've tasted, hell's just your playground
So let the fires burn
Let them keep you warm
Surely now you've learned
Rejoice in hell on earth
